Day Two

The jet lag hit hard today. Crystal and I woke up around 2:30 am and at 3:00 am decided we couldn't go back to sleep and should start our day. Though there's not much you can do here before 8:00 am. With an early start, we packed what felt like two days of site seeing into one - and it was an amazing one. The Grand Palace far exceeded all expectations and has been the most spectacular thing we've seen. The Thai people really know how to make a King feel like a god!

Here's a run down of what we did today. More details to come after we get some sleep.

Morning: Boat ride to Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, jewerly shopping
Afternoon: Brief nap, Suan Pakkad Palace (just as good as the Jim Thompson House), Suan Lum Night Bazaar, drinks at the hotel to watch the sun set

Evening: Struggle to stay awake so we could go to dinner and watch the Thai dancers
We don't have many pictures today because my camera ran out of batteries and we can't download pics from Crystal's camera. Here are the few we did get.
