Yesterday we successfully found the Borghese Galleries. We had a taxi take us to the museum (10 Euro) and Todd scouted the bus stop for us to take the electro mini-bus back home (2 Euro).
I really liked the museum (they are strict on no photographs). It had some great statues by Bernini (wow, that guy was prolific) and a room full of Caravaggios. It even had a couple of Parmigianino's - he's the guy I did my research paper on a couple of years ago.
Highlights:
Bernini's Apollo and Daphne - where she turns into a tree
Bernini's Pluto and Proserpina (same story as above, just different characters)
Bernini's David - So different than Michelangeo's
