My flight out of Houston was delayed by 5 hours, which caused me to miss my connecting flight to Australia. The next flight is the same time next day. I loose a whole day of my already super short vacation. I also miss my live aboard dive boat. I'm trying to work out several different scenarios to salvage my plans like seeing if I can get a transfer directly from the airport to the boat, or dive on my decompression day, but just do the morning dives. So far I haven't gotten anything confirmed. Ugh!
The ironic thing is I had originally booked my flight to LA in the morning after confusing 11:55 pm with Noon instead of midnight. Had I not caught my mistake I would have been better off!
