Tracy Arm, Alaska
Today was our first port, even though it wasn't really a port. We sailed through Tracy Arm, a beautiful glacier fjord. In the morning we we're surrounded by whales. They weren't close enough to empress Coral, but there were a lot of them. As we got into the Fjord the water turned a pretty light turquoise color. The mountains came straight out of the water and up, they were covered in Christmas trees, with and occasional water fall winding down between them. At the end of the Fjord was a glacier. Glaciers have minerals in them that make the ice blue, it is a phenomenal site. At the bottom of the glacier were hundreds of sea lions sunning on chunks of ice.
