Planes, Trains, and Tuk-tuks
We've been on so many types of transportation on this trip. For planes we took a Boeing 777 to Tokyo, we then took and Airbus to Bangkok, and a prop plane to Cambodia. We've been in cars, everything from a BMW 7 series that picked us up from the airport in Bangkok, to no name cars with steering wheels on the right side that drive on the left side, to ones with steering wheels on the right side but still drive on the right side. We've taken two types of Tuk-tuks; the ones in Bangkok are all one piece with the motorcycle built into the carriage behind it, while the ones in Siem Reap are more of a motorcycle with a trailer attached for us to sit in. We've been in boats too; a private Longtail boat (read our scam post) and the public transportation boat. And, we've taken the Skytrain, Bangkok's above ground train system. Of course the mode of transportation we've used the most are our tired little two feet! :)
