We made the best of our flight delay in Houston with champagne and Shirley Temples.
We missed our connection due to the delay, then the next flight we were booked on was also delayed, which caused us to miss our Eiffel Tower tour. We went anyway and walked around the base and took some pictures. We got lucky and saw it light up. When it first lights up it has twinkle lights blinking all over, it is so beautiful.
We are staying at a cute little boutique hotel on the left bank in the Latin Quarter, not far from the Sorbonne. Tomorrow we have a full day of sightseeing planned.

You must have flown United too! Sounds like the same nightmare I had getting out of Houston! But I'm so glad you all are having an amazing time! Jealous! :)
