This temple was virtually empty - except for a knowledgeable tour guide posing as a police officer. Of all the temples we spent the most time here wondering through its elaborately carved walls. First a Buddhist temple and then a Hindu temple, the door ways get smaller as you walk toward the center - to ensure the people entering begin to bow as they approach the Buddha.

This one was my favorite.

Thousands of people come to visit these temples each day, but still it's a constant fight to keep the surrounding jungle at bay. Moss grows in all the crevices, and there is a small army of workers at each site working to cut back all the growth creeping into the temples.
