Casa de Rosario

I'm on the Gala committee for my daughter's Catholic school. When the found out I was going to Rome to get married, and getting blessed by the pope, I got roped into donating a rosary blessed by the pope to the gala's silent auction...a "nice" rosary.

Cheap rosaries are easy to find in Rome, but nice ones are more elusive. Our priest gave us two places to try. The first one was right across the street, but for some reason still took us half an hour to find! Directions in Rome are different! They didn't have any "nice" ones, just the 2 Euro ones we had seen.

The second place he recommended was the church Santa Maria Magoria. It was several blocks away. As we approached the church I saw a sign for "Casa de Rosario." Jack pot!  We got rosaries and all the other trinkets that were on our list, and got to see a beautiful church.

With shopping list complete, we headed to Campo di Fiori for magic acts, live music, champagne, and dinner.

It was a lovely end to our wedding day!
